last of the tour h 1.20

From the banks of the Zattere you can admire the Sestiere Giudecca that is all that area that runs along the Giudecca Canal and ends, on the east side with the island of San Giorgio Maggiore and on the opposite side to the right with the area of Sacca Fisola.
The island of Giudecca in Venice lagoon is great for those who want to find a bit  of quiet away from the crowds of the city.
From the Zattere or S.Zaccaria to reach it, you have to take the water-bus line n 2 and we suggest you get off at the Zittelle boat stop.
Once considered peripheral zone of the city, today the island has been revalued, both for services than restaurants and as the district of pleasure where you can breathe the real Venetian atmosphere.
Zittelle area takes its name from its church. It was consecrated to the presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary and is part of a complex featuring a former hostel for young girls without dowry. As obligatory stop, the Casa dei Tre Oci, n 43 Zittelle, headquarters of international exhibitions, mainly photographic.
Walking along this foundation we find restaurants on the shore suitable for a romantic dinner by candlelight at sunset enjoying a good glass of wine; we continue our journey discovering this district with the scent of clothes hanging from these typical Venetian houses.
Arrived at the Palanca proceed to the direction of Sacca Fisola. In the middle of the foundation, overlooking the canal, we find the famous restaurant Harry's Dolci by Cipriani and follow there is at n 805 with its sign illuminated in the evening, the famous factory of fabrics by Mariano Fortuny, who was born in the 20s of '900 .Today you can not access to the production of textiles, but by appointment guided you can admire the show-room and the private garden.
Breathtaking view is unmissable at the Skyline of Molino Stucky Hilton, originally a granary with silons' shaped ceilings, that maintains an unusual charm. The grandeur of 9 floors and 13 attached structures make it one of the tallest buildings, perfect for enjoying a nice aperitif at the wine-bar on the top floor with the best view in the world of the lagoon.
